Courier shipments are the simplest way to bring goods in: the carrier collects from the supplier, flies the parcel, handles clearance and delivers to your door. One provider, one waybill, one invoice. For small consignments that convenience is worth paying for.
The sensible ceiling sits somewhere around 70 to 100 kilograms. Above it the per-kilo rate stops being competitive against air freight arranged through a forwarder, and the gap widens quickly. Couriers also apply a stricter volumetric divisor — usually 5000 rather than 6000 — so bulky parcels reach that ceiling sooner than their weight suggests.
Worth knowing: courier clearance is convenient but not free, and the customs handling fee plus duty and VAT are billed to you afterwards. A parcel that looked cheap at the point of booking can land noticeably dearer.

What to watch for
